Jeff Eidse

Owner and Head Trainer

Jeff is the founder of SWEATY Training & Conditioning. He is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg with a BA in Kinesiology & Applied Health and is a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists (CSEP-CPT). Jeff is an active member of both the Society of Weight-Training Injury Specialists (SWIS) and the Manitoba Kinesiologists Association. He has also achieved Certification as a DVRT level I & II Certified Instructor, and as an Agatsu Kettlebell Instructor.

As a trainer since 2007, Jeff has worked with clients from every background. Jeff has excelled at bringing the best out of athletes, whether they’re 11 years old, or playing for college or university teams. Specifically he has worked with athletes in Hockey, Football, MMA, Fitness & Figure, Rowing, Ringette, Volleyball and Cycling. Jeff also helps clients who are looking to get the best out of life, whether that means seniors looking to stay active with less joint pain, parents who want to keep up with their kids, or individuals recovering from injury.

Currently, Jeff is working with the Steinbach Pistons as their Athletic Trainer. Prior to which he spent 6 years working with the Eastman Selects programs in varying strength and conditioning roles.

Trainer and Health and Wellness Living expert

Devon is a Kinesiologist, earning his degree from the University of Manitoba in 2013, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS-NSCA) since 2015. He is a fitness nerd who loves designing programs based on the latest Strength and Conditioning research to ensure that his clients are getting the best training possible.

Over the past 5 years Devon has trained clients including: 70 year old grandmas, high school hockey and football athletes, RCMP officers, firefighters, and many people who were just looking to get fit. He trains everyone based on his philosophy: ‘everyone is an athlete.’

Devon’s knowledge of human body mechanics allows all of his clients to improve their athletic potential. This is done safely and effectively through movement and mobility practices. Devon loves helping clients understand their bodies, realize their inner ‘Beast’ and reach their greatest potential.

Casie MacCharles

Trainer

Casie is a Kinesiologist who has been working in Health and Fitness for 2 years since graduating from the University of Winnipeg with a 4 year Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. Since graduation, Casie has been working as a fitness instructor and trainer. Casie is a CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer candidate and is also certified as a Group Resistance Instructor and in Aquatic Fitness. Casie has an extensive background in athletics including Ringette, Volleyball, Track and Rowing. She has competed at 8 National Championships, 3 Western Championships, Canada Winter Games and most recently at a World Championship for Coastal Rowing. Her love for athletics has translated into a passion for helping individuals achieve their fitness related goals whether that be sport performance, or everyday health through Physical Activity. Casie is currently working with individual clients, and is the Strength and Conditioning coach for the Eastman Selects Bantam minor team. Casie’s knowledge of movement combined with her passion and energy is something she brings to every session as she helps people discover their own love and passion for health and fitness.
