Only hiring trainers with Kinesiology Degrees and having been certified by either the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP), or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Jeff Eidse

Owner and Head Trainer

Jeff is the founder of SWEATY Training & Conditioning. He is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg with a BA in Kinesiology & Applied Health and is a High Performance Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists (CSEP-HPS, CSEP-CPT).

Along with his degree and CSEP certifications he has also achieved the Pain-Free Performance Specialist Certification; High Performance Training for Sport through Human Kinetics; Dynamic Variable Resistance Training (DVRT) level I & II Certification; and an Agatsu Kettlebell Certification.

As a trainer since 2007, Jeff has worked with clients from every background. Jeff has excelled at bringing the best out of athletes from as young as 7 years old playing youth sports, all the way up to professional and college athletes. Specifically he has worked with athletes in Hockey, Badminton, Soccer, Football, Rowing, Ringette, Volleyball, Cycling, Golf, MMA and Fitness & Figure. Jeff has also helped numerous other clients who are looking to get the best out of life, whether that means seniors looking to stay active with less joint pain, parents who want to keep up with their kids, or individuals recovering from injury.

Currently, Jeff is working with the Steinbach Pistons as their Athletic Trainer. Prior to which he spent 6 years working with the Eastman Selects programs in varying strength and conditioning roles.

Devon Klassen

Trainer and Health and Wellness Living expert

Devon is a Kinesiologist, earning his degree from the University of Manitoba in 2013, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS-NSCA) since 2015. He is a fitness nerd who loves designing programs based on the latest Strength and Conditioning research to ensure that his clients are getting the best training possible.

Over the past 5 years Devon has trained clients including: 70 year old grandmas, high school hockey and football athletes, RCMP officers, firefighters, and many people who were just looking to get fit. He trains everyone based on his philosophy: ‘everyone is an athlete.’

Devon’s knowledge of human body mechanics allows all of his clients to improve their athletic potential. This is done safely and effectively through movement and mobility practices. Devon loves helping clients understand their bodies, realize their inner ‘Beast’ and reach their greatest potential. Currently Devon is also working as a Fitness Instructor for the Canadian Armed Forces.

I will be graduating from the University of Manitoba in April 2022 with my degree in Kinesiology. I am certified with CSEP as a CPT. I knew I wanted to do something with sports and exercise from a very young age so kinesiology seemed perfect for me. I grew up playing softball, volleyball, and ringette, volleyball and ringette I played competitively. Sports have always been a passion of mine and I love the idea of how exercise and physical activity can enhance our bodies, mind’s and even help with injury rehabilitation and prevention. I knew kinesiology would be a great fit for me due to the fact I would get to expand my knowledge in a field that I was already so passionate for. I stay motivated to train because once you feel the results, training becomes a lifestyle. These results can be physical or mental either way they are so rewarding. I look forward to helping others incorporate exercise into their lives to make it become part of their lifestyle so they can fall in love with exercise and let it be their escape from reality. My goals are to continue to learn. I want to further my knowledge in strength and conditioning as well as in injury rehabilitation. I find it very important to continue to learn and be my best so I can offer the best to my clients so they can be their best.

I’m Justin Lemoine and a recent graduate of Evolve College of Massage Therapy. I have a passion for health and wellness. My focus is on treating acute and chronic injuries, aches and pains, and helping people relax.

The modalities that I tend to use are myofascial and functional release techniques along with deep tissue and structural therapies. Through my experience with sports, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of fitness and health. I’m an accomplished rock-climber traveller and yoga enthusiast.

Amberly is a BKin-AT CAT(C) who graduated from the University of Manitoba in June 2022 and certified as an Athletic Therapist in July 2022.

Amberly is very excited to begin offering clinic hours at Sweaty Training and Conditioning. Growing up, she played many different sports including basketball, volleyball softball, and badminton and was a part of the running team. Amberly always found biology and the human body fascinating, and Athletic therapy offered a chance to combine those two interests together and thus far, it has been a rewarding and fun job. When she is not at the clinic, or on the field, she enjoys hiking, being at the lake house, and travelling. Her personal philosophy regarding athletic therapy is that no matter if you are an athlete or a non-athlete, an Athletic Therapist can help make you the best version of your physical self.

We are looking for a Certified Athletic Therapist or Physiotherapist to add to our team. We have a clinic fully set up and ready for the right person to start utilizing it to it’s fullest potential.

We are open to whatever best suits your needs. Either starting your own clinical business, or working as part of our team.


If you are a professional who has a passion for strength and conditioning, and would like to work in a private high performance facility that focuses on the development of each individual that we work with, we would love to hear from you.

We require all personal trainers to have completed, or in the process of completing a degree in Kinesiology or related field. Be certified with CSEP or NSCA-CSCS or in the process of certifying with either of those professional organizations.

We have years of experience working with all types of clients, form those looking to lose weight to professional athletes, from seniors to youth athletes, from injury rehab to pre-surgery prehab clients, and almost everything in between.

Each of our programs focus on the individual needs and capabilities of each person, and we work together with each client to establish what those specific needs and wants are. We make sure that each client is able to progress in a safe and efficient manner, and help develop programs and lifestyle changes that are not only effective in the short term but sustainable for them going forward.

What we do


Each of our training programs is fine tuned for the person we are training. We create custom programs for each athlete and make sure that the training is selected to achieve their desired results.


By training with SWEATY you will be able to mitigate injuries and improve your recovery time. Because different clients have different needs, we have Athletic Therapists, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Reflexologists and Sport Physicians on site.

We use a series of standardized fitness tests to monitor each individual’s progress and adjust their training program to help them develop better. We can say with confidence that our clients have improved while training with SWEATY.

High-performance also means healthy lifestyles. We work with individuals looking to improve their general fitness and wellbeing. With each personalized training package, we also offer nutritional counselling to clients to help improve their wellness.
